Sugarcane pulp (bagasse)
Pulp is a lignocellulosic fibrous material prepared by chemically or mechanically separating cellulose fibres from wood, fibre crops or waste paper. Wood provides about 90% of the basis for pulp production, while about 10% originates from annual plants. Pulp is one of the most abundant raw materials worldwide, most commonly used as raw material in paper-making. Moulded pulp is often considered a sustainable packaging material, as defined by the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, since it is produced from recycled materials, and can be recycled again after its useful life. Used to produce our range of plates, bowls, clamshell containers, takeaway containers and trays.
