Our single-use cutlery range is made from plant-based bioplastic or FSC® wood pulp and has a smaller carbon footprint than plastic cutlery. Heat-resistant and sturdy.

100% bioplastic cutlery

Our 100 percent bioplastic cutlery is made from a plant-based bioplastic – produced from a rapidly renewable starch. Certified commercially compostable. The range includes knives, forks, spoons, sporks, and cutlery sets.

70% bioplastic cutlery

Our 70 percent bioplastic cutlery is made from a plant-based bioplastic – produced from a rapidly renewable starch. The range includes knives, forks, spoons, sporks, and cutlery sets. These cannot be composted.

Wood cutlery & chopsticks

Our wood BioCutlery and chop sticks are made from FSC® certified Birchwood, are home compostable and will biodegrade without harming or polluting the environment. The range includes knives, forks, spoons, stiring sticks, sporks, cutlery sets and chopsticks.

Bioplastic myths busted!

A bioplastic is a substance made from organic biomass sources, unlike conventional plastics, which are made from fossil resources (oil and gas), bioplastics are made from a number of renewable resources such as plant oils, cellulose, starches, sugars, carbohydrates, bacteria and algae. The production of almost all bioplastics results in less CO2 than that of conventional plastics.

This bioplastic we use is also compostable meaning it can be diverted from landfill at the end of its life, returning nutrients back into the soil.

Whether it’s food trucks at a festival, picnics in the park, or quick-service restaurants in the city, when it comes to food on the go, for both practical and hygienic reasons, customers often need disposable cutlery to enjoy their food. Unfortunately, conventional disposable cutlery is made from plastic derived from finite fossil-fuel resources which contributes to the planet's plastic pollution problem. After its short useful life of 20 minutes, that disposable cutlery usually ends up in landfill where it takes decades to breakdown and releases greenhouse gases in the process.

Looking for an eco-friendly cutlery option? Our BioCutlery range includes 100 percent and 70 percent bioplastic options and FSC® sustainably sourced timber cutlery. Our cutlery range includes knife, fork, spoon cutlery sets, standard spoons, soup spoons, small dessert spoons, forks, sporks, knives, chopsticks, and stirrers made from different types of sustainable materials. All BioPak single-use disposable cutlery has a smaller carbon footprint compared to conventional plastic cutlery.

Made from beautifully crafted birchwood, our BioPak wooden cutlery is a stylish, affordable, eco-friendly option that biodegrades and will not pollute or damage the environment. 

Our 100 percent bioplastic BioCutlery is made from a plant-based bioplastic and produced from a rapidly renewable starch.

Our 70 percent BioCutlery is made from a plant-based bioplastic, produced from a 70 percent plant-starch and 30 percent polypropylene, and offers a less expensive alternative to our 100 percent plant-based bioplastic cutlery. While not compostable or recyclable, it does contain a high content of rapidly renewable plant material – which is still better than using 100 percent conventional plastic.

Our 100% bioplastic cutlery and FSC certified wood cutlery are commercially compostable. Composting compostable cutlery reduces greenhouse gases, returns nutrients back to the earth and improves soil quality, and costs less than sending waste to landfill.
