Our plastic-free plates are made from rapidly renewable sugarcane pulp, a by-product of the sugar refining industry. These compostable plates have been packaged for retail sale and are shelf-ready. There are 10 sugarcane plates per pack and 17 packs per carton.
The eco-cost below, calculated per carton, offers our customers a straightforward metric to understand and compare the environmental impacts of our products. Please note that it is not a hidden or added fee to the product's market price.
The eco-cost is independently calculated across four categories – biodiversity loss, effects on human health, material scarcity, as well as the more standard carbon emissions. BioPak utilises this data to identify areas with the greatest potential for environmental impact reduction, it is our job to reduce the eco-cost and your impact.

Our disposable plates are made from reclaimed and rapidly renewable sugarcane pulp – a by-product remaining after the juice has been extracted during sugarcane refining (that would otherwise be burned).
These plates are a more eco-friendly alternative to conventional plastic and paper plates as they are made from reclaimed resources.
These bagasse plates are microwave oven friendly up to 220°C for 20 mins. They are refrigerator and freezer-friendly, but please test freezer applications to see if it suits your product.
This range of sugarcane plates consists of a variety of sizes with a mixture of single and three compartments for many meal types.
